Mixed Indigo Talisman Necklace

These talismans are made with upcycled natural indigo textiles that were leftover from larger scale clothing production. The constellation, star, and moon patterns are made by Gasali Adeyemo using a traditional Nigerian batik technique. The Chinese basket pattern is made with a vintage handwoven indigo textile from China. Even as small scraps, these textiles are too beautiful to waste, and perfect for these sweet talisman

Each talisman is filled with collected wild California sagebrush and sewn at the edges with Sterling silver beads. The talisman measures 20mm x 25mm and sits on a leather cord measuring 28 inches long with cream colored tassels at the back. The length is adjustable with a small silver bead.
